The Customer:

Our Customer is a leading WMS Software Provider in US.

The Challenge: 
The project required the testing and development of test scripts for a Warehouse management system on a private network in US. The biggest challenge was that this particular system had major applications; one was developed in ASP, the other one was in C on Unix platform and the another one was a client server application.

Solution
  Three Quality Analysts and one System Administrator worked on this Project. The Test Cases were converted into scripts using Rational Robot.

  Scripts were written to test the functionality of individual applications as well as the whole System.

  Whole project was accomplished by making use of VPN connection and high speed Lease line.

  This has helped the Customer to test the product faster thereby reducing the time.

E-SoftSys Contribution:

	We allocated a team of QA's for over six months that augmented the team at the client's place in automating Rational Robot to test their warehouse application.
	With Client’s permission we successfully connected to the client’s server using VPN.
	QAs from ESoftSys recorded and played back scripts using Rational Robot successfully.

Project Description:
Recorded Test Scripts according to Client’s Test Suites and Test Scenarios in Rational Robot environment using SQA Basic Language.

Different Projects and modules like Inbound, Outbound, Put away and Cycle counts etc. were developed in Rational Test Suite.

Developed three kinds of scripts: GUI scripts for Functional Testing and VU Scripts for Performance Testing on their WMS Application.

Performed full Functional Testing, Recorded and played back scripts that navigate through WMS Application and test the State of Objects through Verification Points Programmatically.
